Taiko Drumming Workshop

Pittsburgh Taiko will teach a hands-on introduction to playing taiko. Learn stance, strike, sounds, and how we learn music by speaking it. Active participants will likely need to take turns and share drums; observers are also welcome. The workshop involves some stretching and movement - practical shoes (or bare feet) are a plus. We'll provide all the equipment, including disposable earplugs - feel free to bring your own hearing protection if you prefer. Water is also nice to have.
